Social Planning Associate

United Way is a community-focused and volunteer-driven organization committed to improving lives and building a stronger community. We are looking for a Social Planning Associate to join our team.

As the ideal candidate, you are a researcher, communicator and collaborator with knowledge of the local social services sector.  You possess strong skills in the following areas:

Research, Planning and Analysis

• Conduct social planning research
• Interpret qualitative and quantitative data
• Write research reports, articles and fact sheets

 Community Linkages and Engagement

• Provide administrative support, participate and/or facilitate in multiple community planning group meetings
• Coordinate specific projects for community planning groups
• Facilitate opportunities for community engagement and input

 Fund Distribution

• Provide administration support for the United Way fund allocation process
• Support the work of fund allocation volunteers

You can manage multiple projects in a timely and well-organized manner.  You have exceptional computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office.  You hold a degree in social sciences or equivalent.
