The United Way of Guelph & Wellington proudly serves Orangeville and Dufferin County.
Working with local leaders, charities and donors, the United Way raises money and awareness to support social service programs that improve lives and build community.
What's New?
- 2012 Funding is available for United Way agencies in Dufferin and Orangeville. Application deadline Feb 16, 2012.
- TransAlta staff spent Thursday, Oct 13, helping with fall yard work at the homes of seven vulnerable seniors in Shelburne, Grand Valley and Orangeville. United Way linked TransAlta with the seniors through the Alzheimer Society of Dufferin County and Hospice Dufferin as part of the Day of Caring™ program. TransAlta is holding its first United Way fundraising campaign this year.
- United Way Campaign 2011. Local companies are kicking off their 2011 United Way campaigns. Poly One, D+H, LCBO and Future Shop are among the local businesses coming to raise funds for social service programs in Orangeville and Dufferin.
- Local Local company digs in on United Way Day of Caring™. On June 2, Orangeville's D+H is participating in United Way Day of Caring, building a community garden for Hospice Dufferin. Across the country, teams of employees are taking time from their workday to volunteer at local charities.

Building Community.Thanks to your donations, programs at local agencies will receive critical funding this year. Programs like education services at the Canadian Mental Health Association Grand River Branch and nutritious food at local schools through Food and Friends.
