loaned representative program

Every year, hundreds of volunteers canvass thousands of people through Employee Campaigns. One of the important links in this chain of support comes from the team of Loaned Representatives.

Loaned Representatives are employees who are “lent out” by their employer to assist the United Way during the Campaign. For approximately 14 weeks, Loaned Representatives work full-time at the United Way.

Loaned Representatives, partnered with United Way staff, oversee the employee campaigns to ensure that they proceed smoothly and reach their objectives within established deadlines.

Benefits of the Loaned Representative Program

  • The Employees who join the team enjoy a unique experience of personal and professional development.
  • The Workplaces that conduct employee campaigns can rely on the support of a competent team to help support and guide their campaign to success.
  • The Organizations that lend an employee raise their profile in hundreds of workplaces throughout Guelph & Wellington.
  • The United Way is able to keep its campaign expenses as low as possible and is able to build a team of qualified resource persons.
