The United Way is very grateful to OMAFRA, the Co-operators and the University of Guelph who are participating in our loaned representative program for the upcoming 2007 campaign.
‘Loaned Reps’ are paid staff members of these three organizations who are “loaned” to the United Way to work with us during the campaign. Loaned Representatives are always a tremendous help to United Way staff and volunteers and enable us to run our campaign throughout the community.
Typical responsibilities of a loaned rep include:
- Work with volunteer Employee Campaign Coordinators encouraging them to use all the resources available to ensure success of their campaigns,
- Implementing and evaluating employee workplace campaigns,
- Delivering training and presentation sessions to various employee groups,
- Participate in campaign activities and meetings such as training programs, information sessions, campaign Kick-Off and Closing Events,
- Ensuring that all organizations and volunteers receive appropriate thanks and recognition for their contributions.

The United Way is currently in the process of recruiting individuals interested in the loaned representative program and are looking forward to welcoming three loaned reps in the fall! |
