United Way Hosts Leadership Appreciation Event
Last year 280 people donated to the United Way of Guelph & Wellington at the leadership level of $1,000 or more. To thank these donors for their significant and continued support, our United Way held a special event to show our appreciation at the Macdonald Stewart Art Centre at the University of Guelph. Featuring a tour of the popular ‘Shakespeare – Made in Canada’ Exhibit, the approximately 65 attendees had the opportunity to hear about the importance of their United Way donation from Alistair Summerlee, University President, Rick McCombie, Campaign Chair, and Annette Bauman and David Knight from the Alzheimer Society.
