The United Way of Guelph & Wellington is pleased to announce the hiring of our new Research Assistant, Cynthia Arku.
Cynthia began as our new Research Assistant in early May and will be assisting in social planning research throughout the summer in the areas of Children and Youth, Families and Individuals, and Multiculturalism. This research will provide a snapshot of these study groups, identify gaps in services and will be utilized by the United Way Fund Distribution Committee, other funding organizations, community groups and local government. Cynthia will also be assisting in the implementation of the multiculturalism survey currently being conducted by Meghan Muldoon, Social Planning Associate.
Cynthia is a recent graduate of the University of Guelph’s Masters in Rural Planning program and has her Bachelor of Arts in Integrated Development Studies from the University for Development Studies in Navrongo, Ghana.
The staff and volunteers at the United Way welcome Cynthia to our team. |
