We are pleased to share with you our expanded bi-monthly E-newsletter, Community Connections - a new way of communicating what is going on in the United Way of Guelph & Wellington and an opportunity to provide a closer look at what the money raised through campaign is doing in our community.
Please note that we are still providing the information on our social planning research previously distributed through Research News. You can find these articles under the Social Planning section of this and future editions.
As you will see from the articles included in this edition, all three of our programs are busy: Social Planning has begun researching this year’s categories of community needs specifically children and youth, families and individuals, and multiculturalism; Campaign is busy preparing for our 2007 campaign which we are looking forward to beginning in September; and Fund Distribution is accepting funding proposals until June 8th and will continue the funding process throughout the summer and fall.
As we begin producing future editions of Community Connections, we would appreciate hearing your opinions and ideas on any of the content covered in this e-newsletter.
